PHOTOGRAPHY OF GEORGE SANKER
IMAGES OF THE WILDERNESS

FEATURED IMAGE

A monster Whitetailed Buck at the edge of a frozen pond in November in Acadia National Park.

November is mating seaon for deer in New England and the bucks are always on the move looking for mates.  This is the best time of year to see big bucks in Acadia, where they are protected and therefore more trusting of people.

In most places they are hunted and nearly impossible to photograph.  This is why a I do almost all of my photography in national parks and other large protected lands.

State and Federal laws are extremely unfair to the majority of nature lovers, who would rather observe spectacular wild animals up close, going about their daily lives.
